Jesse Owens Class
Our Class Name
Our class is named after the inspiring Jesse Owens and we will be learning lots about him as part of our whole school ‘Little People, Big Dreams’ topic. We will study him and his achievements as the year goes on.
Jesse is a track and field athlete who won four gold medals at the Olympics in 1936. Wow! To help us imagine how he felt during this time, we held a Y3 Olympics which involved sprinting, basketball, tennis, long jump and a relay race.
