Covid-19 Update:

Well done to every single one of our class who have been working really hard at home, completing the daily tasks, spellings, times-tables, Reading Plus, completing VE Day work, Lego challenges and so much more. They have produced some excellent work. Here is some of the work produced in the gallery below.

Keep checking Seesaw for daily updates and please feel free to message me regarding anything you need.

Kindest regards,

Mr Dade

Autumn 1 welcome message from the class teacher:

Welcome to Year 5J. This is going to be a fun and exciting year for us all.

This half term we will be using a ‘vehicle text’ for English. We will keep you posted about this as we don’t want to reveal too much about just yet!

This half term in Maths we will be concentrating on number and place value.

All children now have their log on details for MyMaths and Reading Plus so should be accessing them from home if they have access to the internet.

Spellings will be given out on a Friday for children to learn for the following Friday’s test.

Class 5 J are very lucky this year as we will be doing extra lessons in; violin, capoeira, debate and yoga.

Children will need their PE kit on a Thursday.

Look out for our key dates section. This will be updated regularly with all the key dates that you will need to know!

Don’t forget that SeeSaw and Twitter are the best places to get up-to-date information about our class.

Mrs Johnston, Ms Connor and Ms Cavanagh
