Previously at Banks Road...

Country Trust

Year 4 were very lucky to work with Lisa from Country Trust. They learned what it takes to run a market stall – picking produce to sell, pricing, advertising and how to sell. Then they prepared the produce and sold it to other classes. It was great!

Animobile

Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 were able to experience a variety of animals who came to visit Banks Road! We were able to feel, feed and learn about the animals from the experts who care for them. This experience linked to our 'Living Things' Science topic and it was a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience first hand what the animals look like, how they are cared for, what they sound like and what their natural habitats are.

Chester Zoo - Sustainable Palm Oil

Years 2, 3, 4 and Reception gained a wealth of knowledge on sustainable palm oil when Chester Zoo organised a number of workshops and visits to our school. Reception were particulary curious to learn about the Rainforest habitat.
