About Our Class

Welcome to Y3Cs class page. We are called the Bhangra Knights Class!

We are excited for a fantastic half term filled with discovery and growth. This term, we’ll be diving into a range of engaging topics and activities. You can find our Curriculum Map below, outlining everything your child will be learning this half term.

Homework

To support learning at home, we’ll be sending home weekly spellings. Please ensure your child completes their homework and practices their spellings regularly to reinforce the concepts taught in class. In addition, we encourage pupils to read their school book at least three times a week to foster a love of reading. Please remember to write about your child's reading in their Reading Records!

In Autumn 2 we will be learning about:

English - The Fox text by Margaret Wild. The children will be writing a fable narrative.
Maths - Multiplication and Division
Science - Rocks
History - Cradles of Civilisation
Geography - Mountains
Computing- Composing an Email
PSHE - Celebrating Differences
PE - Bollywood Dancing
Music - Glockenspeil stage.
Religion - Exploring more Hindu stories
DT - Cooking and Nutrition
